On faith in silicon, they’re changing the world, or so they think. Pure ambition from Boston, her warm heart shines almost as bright as her genius right/left brain. She’s learning the brutal tech business with her funded start-up Audverse which curates viral content & creates branded content algorithms to monetize it all-- she has a viral touch, and also produces up & coming Creators (influencers).
She’s doing something she truly loves, yet it’s scary even after a year.The new twist in her life is an impetuous affair with Jimmy. A mysterious, but gentle guy, to her girl who has always dated “geeky boys”...and girls.

Derek is a chiseled surfer and brilliant cyber security detective-– he quit Harvard sophomore year recruited by the CIA, then quit that, returning home to Venice beach to open his own security shop,& surf.
All around perfect human being. Surfing his priority, or so he lets everyone think.
JIMMY CURBAN
(LEAD, 24, white)

Jimmy’s a phoenix rising from some bad choices in his past. He worked as an EMT in Louisville, Kentucky, got busted for dealing prescription narcotics and was jailed for a year. Jimmy recently arrived in Silicon Beach for the ocean and redemption. A man of few words, but clever quips, he works hard beating back his demons. He’s a multimedia artist; struggling but making a living from his art.
Above all, SILICON BEACH is the location-vacation-- and now occupation-- surf, sun and sand, year round in this world famous urban beach locale.A scripted character drama of fast paced narrative, minimal dialogue; w/ VO, texting and music...cinema verite on your cell, in whatever length clips you want to WATCH.
